Welcome to The Garden House Parents’ Association
Here you’ll find information about upcoming events and fundraising, and ways to get involved in the Garden House School community. We hope the site makes it easy for parents to stay connected, discover what’s happening throughout the year, and support the school community.
The Garden House Parents’ Association was established in 1992 by Mrs Oddy, principal of the school. The Garden House PA is a network of volunteers organised under three areas: Class Representatives, Committee Chairmen and an Operating Committee.
The role of the PA is to provide opportunities for parents to contribute their skills and ideas to the school, to help parents get to know each other in a social setting, to raise funds for the PA’s sponsored charity and the Royal Hospital, to act as one of the channels of communication between parents and the school and to facilitate relationships with our local community.

Garden House Parents’ Association Charities
Each Summer term, the PA requests nominations from families and teachers within the school community for a partner charity for the next academic year. The PA reviews the nominations and, based on specific criteria, votes for a final list of charities.
All Garden House children vote for one charity from the final list in June. Garden House also has a long term relationship, which includes fundraising, with our neighbour, The Royal Hospital Chelsea. Of the funds raised by the PA each year, the proceeds are given to the selected charity and to The Royal Hospital Chelsea.
